SOOP Monthly GTS report
This report shows comparisons for each ship of counts of GTS reports received at:
- Meteo France
- Australian Bureau of Meteorology
- NOAA, USA
- Japan Meteorological Agency
Plus for those ships which are reporting via Argos, the number of reports inserted on GTS.
It helps to verify (i) wether ships are effectively inserting observed data on GTS, and (ii) wether selected centres are effectively receiving the data. When discrepancies are noted source of the problem is more easily identified.
